Here is a brief run down of the classes we have on offer this term. Images and more details will be available as soon as possible (still working on some of them!!)


Classes will start the first week of February.

Monday Night:

7.00 - 9.00pm
Open Scrap /  card making. $5 per person

Tuesday:

9.30 - 11.00am
Art Journaling $15 per person


Wednesday:

10.00 - 12.00
Scrapbooking for Beginners

This will run for 6 weeks. $120 which includes everything. You do not need to purchase adhesive, tools etc as we would like you to try everything out first.

We will be running through various techniques in these classes and just taking it a little slower. So you are welcome to join us even if you have scrapped before!

This class is limited in numbers as we don't want a big class for this.7.00 - 9.00pm


Thursday 

7.00 - 9.00pm
A year in review

This is a 4 week class starting the first week in March. We will be concentrating on scrapbooking the highlights of 2013 in pocket page style.

Cost $150 which includes the album, lots of re-fills, lots of embellishments, papers, cards, and new release stamps.


Saturday

1.00 - 2.30pm

Every 2nd week we will be holding a card class which is $10 per week and every other week will be a kids class.

Would you like some other classes? Please let us know what you are interested in and we will make it available!

BUTTERFLIES IN A JAR

A beautiful keepsake for your shelf - butterflies flying around in a jar.
$12.50 which includes everything.
P.s: You can choose your own colours!

CARD MAKING

Create 3 pretty cards.

$7.50 which includes everything.

Thursday 23rd January 12.00 - 2.00pm

DOUBLE LAYOUT CLASS

In this class we will be creating a 2 page layout.

$20.00 which includes everything.

Friday 24th January 9.30 - 11.30

POPPIES CANVAS

We will be painting, mod podging, texture pasting, stamping and rubbing on in this fun class! Please bring an apron or wear old clothing!

$20.00 which includes everything.

Friday 24th January 12.00 - 2.00pm

Scrapbooking

Using pretty paper from Bo Bunny and the girl stamps Prima we will be creating a pretty 1 page layout. 

$20.00 which includes everything.

A fun beach layout!

Card Making

We will be creating 3 cards. There are a few different kits to choose from. Each kit does have enough in there to make at least 10 cards!

Wood Home Decor

Choose any wood item! The class costs $7.50 which includes use of paints, tools, glue, some embellishments. You will need to purchase your own wood item and papers you would like to use.

I'm Back!

Good Morning!

After having nearly a 4 week break I am back at work again. The shop was open last week - but I was slowly easing back in!

Have you enjoyed your school holidays? We have, nice lazy mornings (yes still up at 5am but no rushing!) And I don't know what I was thinking when I did it.... but I booked my kids in to 2 lots of vacswim. I have now spent 15 afternoons at the pool - only 5 to go! Yeah! It has been good for the kids with them going up another level but I will be glad when I have my late afternoons back....

Even though we where enjoying our holidays Amber and I did sit down during our break to plan out this coming year and we have some truly wonderful classes planned. This year we will also have weekly night classes in scrapbooking, journaling and card making.

To start it all off with a bang - today we are having a New Years Party in the shop. You can sit down and complete a challenge to be in the running for a prize, there is a raffle, a table with below cost priced items, as well as 10% off store wide! (even from already marked down items!!!)

Stay tuned for our class schedule which will be up this morning as well as the kids classes for the remainder of the school holidays.

Sneak peek of Kaisercraft CHA new releases...

Have a look at the wonderful new collections Kaisercraft are releasing at the CHA!!

Christmas Tree Tutorial

Busy wrapping presents and have realised you haven't got any tags? Make some quick and easy ones using an old book.

What you need:

Some card or shipping tags
pages from an old book or dictionary
ink pad to ink edges
some ink spray or paints to spritz the background
rhinestones or pearls

Start with a semi circle cut out from a book page (I used a dictionary)

Ink edges

Bring the rounded edge up across the straight edge.  Depending on where you start the fold - it will determine the width of the tree.

Fold back across

Then back again... Add a little bit of glue or double sided tape under each of the folds to hold your tree together.

Cut a small piece of cardstock for the stem. Attache to the back of the tree.

Add some ice stickles or Kindy glitz to your tree to represent tinsel!

Have fun making some trees!

Kid's Canvas Class on Monday 23rd December

We are giving some sanity back to parents - a chance to have a couple of hours off to finish off your final Christmas shopping or just have a break!

Starting at 2pm and finishing at 4pm we will be creating this canvas:

Everything is included in the class. The canvas is also easily adjustable - leave a couple of the Gingerbread men off and you could leave space for this years family Christmas photo!

December Kaiser Collections

On following on quickly from November here is December.... at least I am writing about the right month now!

Kaisercraft released 3 beautiful collections this month. Paradiso, Key to my Heart and Confetti.

Pardiso was mine to do...and lets just say its still coming - I do aim to catch up over the Christmas break!

Did you know that every month Kaisercraft releases a brand new Work shop magazine full of layouts and ideas for the new collections? We have the glossy hard copies available in store - but if you are unable to pick one up you can see it all {HERE}

PARADISO

With paper names like Salty Kisses, Sandy Toes and Sunsets it's not hard to picture the inspiration behind the new "Paradiso" collection. If you love the beach and summer as much as we do, you can't go past "Paradiso"

Key to my Heart

Get carried away in the romantic whirlwind that is "Key to my Heart". This fanciful collection is the perfect excuse to dig out all your loved up snap shots and make an adorable homage to your sweetheart. Show your love this month and pick up "key to my heart" today.
